12u - Caiden "Kersh" Padget #21

Caiden Padget was born in November, 2003 in Victorville, CA to parents Chris and Michelle. Caiden decided to enter the world earlier than expected and was born premature weighing only 4 lbs. 7 ounces. He has been an active child from day one and has played soccer, basketball and baseball throughout his childhood.

In the second grade, Caiden was chosen to represent his school for a reading award at the NASCAR race in Fontana. He was able to meet many of his favorite drivers: Jimmy Johnson, Carl Edwards, Trevor Bayne, and Clint Bowyer as well as had an all access pass to the pits. 

In 2012, Caiden's family moved from Southern California to Surprise, Arizona. Shortly after moving to Arizona, Caiden was asked to play for a local travel baseball team where he quickly became more passionate about the game of baseball. An interesting fact that most people don't know about Caiden is that he writes and eats with his right hand, however plays all of his sports with his left. He also loves to play basketball. His favorite professional teams include the Washington Redskins, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and Chicago Bulls. Caiden enjoys the outdoors, bike riding, going to the river/lake for boating, traveling, listening to music and playing with his younger brother Collin. Caiden dreams of one day playing baseball for ASU. His first career choice is to become a professional baseball pitcher and as a back up plan would like to be a police officer/detective.

Some fun facts about Caiden are that he loves Macaroni and Cheese and wings and his favorite color is red. His favorite subject in school is Science and he likes learning about the weather and astronomy. He is proud to be a Spartan and loves his Spartans baseball family.
