David Matranga:
Grew up in Southern California. Christian, Husband and father to 3 children. Wife Sarah kids Austin, Alexa and Gavin.
Played high school baseball at Orange High in Orange County, Calif.
Won a Gold Medal on the USA junior national team as a senior in HS and played on the USA senior national team as a Sophmore in college.
Played college baseball at Pepperdine University for 3 years and was drafted in the 6th round in 1998 by the Astros. Played 12 professional seasons reaching the major leagues with the Astros in 03 and the Angels in 05. Became the 86th player in major league history to hit a home run in his first major league plate appearance. Retired in 2009 and am currently a MLB agent representing many major league players as well as raising and coaching my 3 kids.
